Horoscope Chinese 2008

The year 2007 is the Year of the Pig of Fire:

According to the Lunar calendar, the New Year is the day on February 18, according to the solar calendar (which is guided by the astrological system) on 4 February is the first of the year.

The year 2000 was the year of the Golden Dragon:

The Gregorian calendar is used officially in China since 1911. This timetable is known as the "Western Calendar" (西历xīlì), also called "Calendar Standard (公历gōnglì). Despite this there are two calendars traditional widespread use. One of them counted the years since the birth of Huangdi, the Yellow Emperor, the first emperor of China in 2697 AD The other is based on a cyclical system which combines different signs.
New Year's Day is on 5 February of the year 4697 because, according to the Lunar System, is the first new moon of the year.
The first day of the Year of the Golden Dragon, the astrological calendar, is the day on February 4, as it is the first day of the month of the Tiger in the Solar System, being the month of the Tiger the first month of the Year.
A child who was born on 3 February, the day 5 of the same month serve two years, because the Chinese are beginning to count the age of one year from the date of his birth.
Thus those born between days on February 4, 2000 and 3 of the same month, but the year 2001, will be considered Golden Dragons.
The Dragons, unlike other animals in the Chinese Zodiac, is a mythical animal and the symbol of good health and good luck. The Dragons in China are considered benevolent animals governing atmospheric phenomena, fog, wind, lightning, rain and thunder, and are characterized by live in the sky.
There are aspects that can confuse the matter. Certain determinations indicate that the year 2000 will be 4698 instead of 4697, since the calendar was set at the winter solstice, and some take the year 4637 as the date referred to the Yellow Emperor's coronation. And we can appoint different ways this year as White Dragon, Dragon or Dragon Gold Metal, as for a system of branches and logs, the year belongs to the metal element, associated with white and considers most appropriate name the gold instead of metal, seen as a generic.

The Chinese calendar, also called "Agricultural Calendar" (农历nónglì) is considered a lunisolar calendar. The calendars lunisolares have as a unit of measure of the month, unlike the solar calendars using the day. The Gregorian calendar, solar features, adds one day every 4 years to match the length of the year, while calendars lunisolares adding a month each 3 years, such as the Jewish or Chinese.

In a lunisolar calendar date expresses the moon phase and the period of the solar year. The lunisolar calendar indicates the season when solar year is defined as tropical year; if defined as the year sidereo, in this case the constellation fenced indicate where the new moon will occur. As extra requirement, the year should be separated in a whole number of months. Mostly schedules are broken into 12 months, but every second or third year has 13 months. The calendar shows the tropical season is a lunisolar Chinese calendar.
